What does the US House leadership think of

Steve King?

Steve King was removed from ALL House committees!!!

That is what the US House leadership thinks of

Steve King?

From the Sioux City Journal 2/18/2019

"Like the first town hall in the O'Brien County seat of Primghar last month, no public dissension was aired at Monday's meeting.

Questions comprised the final half of the meeting after King finished his opening remarks. People who wanted to address King were asked to write their names, what town they live in and questions on a slip of paper, then a King staffer called on the five people to voice their queries in the meeting."

Here is what Steve King thinks a Town Hall Meeting is:

He only takes 5 questions that his staff chooses.

NO interaction with the meeting attendees.

Are you proud of Steve King?

Re:  Congressman Steve King

Dear House Leadership:

I am writing to the both you as a 5th generation resident of the 4th district Iowa.  Some of my great great grandparents were born and raised here.  Their parents all came as immigrants.

With this background I am writing with great concern about the disgrace Congressman King has cast across this district.  His latest claim of being misquoted is nothing more than a smokescreen.  His couching his bigotry and white supremacy behind his religion is shameful and reeks his lust for power.

Why give him back his committee positions?  Look at his absenteeism when he was seated.  55% absent from ag committee / 90% absent small business committee.

Ask former Congressman John Boehner what he thinks about King.  Look at his long history of support and dialogue with neo nazis in Europe and Canada.

Why no censor? I am a father of 3 mixed culture sons.  They ask why is it their representative thinks of them as part of the demise of our culture and western civilization?

I ask you both take a look at my website anyonebutsteveking.com.  See why I was forced to get involved.  In this effort I have had phone calls thanking me for giving voice to their fear of this hateful bigot.

Do not give Congressman King any committees.  Have courage and expel him for his years of divisive rhetoric.

King - Disapproval Vote 424-1

The House of Representatives formally rebuked Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King on Tuesday, overwhelmingly passing a resolution of disapproval for comments he made about white supremacy.

Even King voted for the measure, though he strongly objected to GOP leaders stripping him of his committee assignments a day earlier.

The final vote was 424-1, with only Democratic Illinois Rep. Bobby Rush voting no. Rush said he wanted to censure King instead -- a stronger, but still largely symbolic, step.

KKK Supports Steve King?

US House Most Ineffective Member

Do you agree with a leader of the KKK?

Steve King said no group has given more to civilization than white people.

If you were really wondering what civilization looks like to King, you simply have to take a look at a July 2016 interview during the Republican National Convention. When Esquire’s Charlie Pierce said this would be the last time “old white people” received so much attention, King rebutted by saying no group had ever accomplished as much as they did.

“I would ask you to go back through history and figure out where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people that you are talking about, where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?" King responded. When Chris Hayes asked King if he meant no group had done more than white people, he replied, "Than — than western civilization itself that's rooted in western Europe, eastern Europe and the United States of America, and every place where Christianity settled the world. That's all of western civilization."

What did Ronald Reagan Say About Racism:

"American stands unique in the world; the only country not founded on race but on a way, an ideal. Not in spite of but because of our polyglot background, we have had all the strength in the world. That is the American way.

We must never remain silent in the face of bigotry. We must condemn those who seek to divide us. In all quarters and at all times we must teach tolerance and denounce racism, anti Semitism and and ethic or religious bigotry wherever they as exist as unacceptable evils. We have no place for haters in America-none, whatsoever."
